The lineup for 2020 will be announced in the coming months, so check back for the details as they continue to develop!
In the meantime, here's who you missed in 2019:
Originally from the Central Coast, growing up in Orcutt, CA, Baird was a semi-finalist on NBC TV reality show “The Voice” in 2018. Baird now resides in Nashville, TN. In addition to his powerful yet delicate guitar work, Pryor is very well known for his burning slide guitar melodies and solid rough vocals. Pryor managed to get everyone out of their seats and moving their feet!
Dog Party is a California-based, indie rock'n'roll band, composed of sisters, Gwendolyn and Lucy Giles. Compared with bands like The Go-Go's, The Ramones, The White Stripes, and The Runaways, Dog Party establishes their own unique west coast sound with a dash of punk and a sprinkle of pop. With 6 records and extensive touring under their belts, Dog Party has been active since 2007. In fall of 2016, they were the Special Guests on Green Day's Revolution Radio North American tour.
Unfinished Business is a Central Coast band initially formed in 2003 and specializing in what is arguably the best music of all time: 1960s rock 'n' roll and soul. The original members of Unfinished Business- Jim Witt on bass and vocals, and Ed Miller, on lead guitar and vocals- all played in different local bands in California during the '60s, but they eventually set their music careers aside to pursue "real jobs" and raise families. In 2012 Thomas "Toes" Cuffe joined the band on keyboards, in 2014 Karen Witt joined the band, providing background vocals and percussion, in 2016 Anthony Langston took over the drum throne, and in 2017 Roy Henry added his soulful vocal stylings to the Unfinished Business sound. Well, the '60s are now long gone, but the members of Unfinished Business still have a passion for the music of that era and their "unfinished business" is to pick up where they all left off way back when, performing many of the hits of their youth by so many of the great '60s artists, ranging from The Animals to The Zombies and including The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, and various Motown and Memphis soul artists. Long live ‘60s rock ‘n’ roll!
Terry Lawless has worked over 14 years as keyboardist / programmer for the legendary Irish rock band (and biggest band in the world), U2. Before that, he toured for over three decades with the biggest names in the music business. Under the umbrella of Lawless Studio Services, Terry is a studio owner and hands on operator, keyboardist, saxophonist, flautist, vocalist, writer of production and incidental music, producer, sound designer, synthesizer programmer, music transcriber, arranger, teacher, lecturer, session musician, etc. The 2019 'Jam' was lucky to have him!
You may have seen Mike rockin' as lead vocalist in Steppin' Out, voted #1 Band in Northern Santa Barbara County in 2010, 2011, 2014, and 2015. True to form, Mike's performance at the 'Jam' rocked the audience, whether performing solo or jamming with the rest of the lineup.
Dudley Gimpel plays guitar and sings in The Mojo Combo. Gimpel is also credited with designing Ernie Ball/Music Man guitars for many members of rock royalty such as Eddie Van Halen, Steve Lukather (Toto), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), and Steuart Smith (The Eagles).
Roy Henry and Kelly Atwell
Mason Lu, Matt Kim and Donna Lu
As seen here on the Central Coast in the 'Legends' tribute series as Ray Charles, Roy and his "effortlessly sultry voice" commanded the Opening Ceremony with his rendition of America the Beautiful and the Star Spangled Banner. Roy also performed Motown hits and other classics with Unfinished Business.
Atwell's voice has been described as "a force of nature", belting out hard rock hits as current lead singer for Rock of Ages, and formerly of AC/DC tribute band, High Voltage, and Rebel 66. Kelly's high-energy solo performance at the 'Jam', backed by Unfinished Business, left the crowd 'thunder struck'--we salute you Kelly!
Donna Lu & Matt Kim
Soulful duo, Donna Lu and Matt Kim make a cameo appearance, teamed up with Donna's son, Mason, to perform the hit song Shallow from this year's box office smash, "A Star is Born".
